25 of our team stayed at the "big" guest house. This is where the entire team met daily for worship and prayer.
8 of us stayed four doors down at a smaller GH... we really had to suffer, didn't we??? hehehehe

The "vicious" guard dog... "Terrible'" (pronounced "ter - REE - blay") is his name and he is a beautiful, loving dog.

Our bus driver, Hector (ek - tore)... drove us every day... picked us up at the airport (along with 14 tons of luggage supplies!), drove us to and from the village every day (hour and a half each way) and drove us round trip to the market (two hours each way).
Want to know what it is like riding a bus through Ecuador?
Here are several movies... these are large files, so they take a while to download...
Going into one of the tunnels about halfway up to Santos Pamba
Riding down a hill in a poorer part of Quito
On the dirt roads coming into Santos Pamba - look at all the brick ovens
===================
On the way to market... we got to stop at the marker of the equator. I got to stand with one foot in the northern hemisphere and one foot in the southern hemisphere. How cools is that?
===================
After an afternoon of shopping, three Quichuan girls got on the bus and sang three songs for us...
