I had an honor and privilege most dad's don't get to have... to perfom the wedding ceremony of their oldest daughter.

At the dedication of Parker Drilling Company's new fire training rig at the Fort Bend County Fire Training facility, March 2, 2006

Built in 1960, the rig served in the Gulf of Mexico for 25 years

From left to right... Chaplain Skip, Mr. Parker, Mrs. Parker, Dave Mannon and Casey Davis

Mrs. Parker got 'bunkered up' and cracked a bottle of Champagne on the rig to officially inaugurate the new purpose of the rig.

The first 'official' burn... pretty awesome, huh?

Thank you to Lisa Ressling for all the great shots of the event!

Moonshine Hill IFD

Moonshine Hill used to be a little town near where modern-day Humble, Texas stands.  I am Chaplain for the Humble Fire Department.  The first day I was there, I met the city's Fire Marshall, Clint.   Clint is one of the owners of the Moonshine Hill IFD and the equipment.  I won't tell you that he fell off a ladder working on the building and broke his arm.... no, he wouldn't want me to tell you that.

This shot was taken right after I performed the wedding of Magnolia Bend's Fire Chief, Ray Zavadil, and one of our firefighters and ECAs, Tammy Towery.

I have met several new friends via this website.  One of these is Olaf.  Olaf is now a firefighter/paramedic and a veteran photographer.  More importantly, he is serving our REAL CHIEF. This is a shot of him taking pictures at a 4-alarm in Fort Worth, Texas. Check out his website.
